Hi Fenil,

 

I remember i faced similar error sometime back.

 

Can you cross check below points once again:

 

1. Check installed plugins latest version in Eclipse kepler  (Help menu >About Eclipse>Installation Details) It should be 1.1.3

 

          API toolkit for SAP Mobile Platform

          OData Modeler

 

2.  When you created a new project, you must have selected Target Runtime server as "SAP Mobile Platform 3.0 SP03 or lower" as you are working on SP03. Right?

 

3. Are you working on the same machine (eclipse installed) where SMP3 server is installed?

4. Can you just check if you have set any proxy details in SMP3 props.ini file under C:\SAP\MobilePlatform3\Server by any chance?

Also, in eclipse, Windows>Preferences>Network Connections>Active Provider>Manual

 

Note: If possible, upgrade to latest runtime SP05 as it has many new features and bugs resolved wrt to IGW.

Actually in PB 12.6 (Classic) there is theProcessBitnessproperty in the environment object which returns values 32 or 64 depending on process bitness of course.

SMP3SDKInstaller_3_5_0_win Launcher issue

Hi Experts,

 

I have recently installed SMP 3 SP05 SDK  but could not to see any way to launch SDK. Is this the STD that this sdk only copies plugin flies to our system or Is it suppose to provide a launcher by which I can initiate SDK.

 

I also found below log in to installation log, which look suspicious.

Dear Typewriter,

 

As per the posting in previous thread on FOC.

 

Mentioned are the results generated in FOC invoice.

Basic Price -Discounts +Freight values = Net price.

 

Moreover in the same invoice having free of charge materials,so discount value splitted to FOC items also,so the discount value not matching in invoice output.

Actual value discount given 15 $ and 5 $ splitted to FOC line item. and discount calculating at 10$.

How to avoid/exclude special discount  for  FOC item.

Need help in resolving the above issue.

i checked the post and still i am not clear about this problem.

you are right and at this moment, the process works well. but i want to know the procedure to implement the required configurations by managers. for example the approval should be in two steps, first by project manager and then by line manager.

Hi


If we are using same prompts in the different  reports (globe prompts), you can develop prompts in the universe so data also restrict at the database level.

 

If any local prompts, use only for the respective report, then develop at the report level.

Hi Valter Miranda ,

 

First you have to check the rule in Transaction PFAC. You have to create separate method and have to use the same logic from rule to get all approvers.

 

Then you have to get email ID's of all users in the same method and you have to bind the Task container to workflow container. Both containers should be multiline, so that you can append multiple email id's to a single container.

 

Finally you have to create send mail step and you can assign the email container to this send mail step. So that it will send emails to all approvers at the same time.

The action is HTTP request. May be this is due to a slow network connection. Can you check RF_UI_START for potential operations that can lead to rolling out user context like WAIT UP TO and other or perform remote communication? The number of enqueues is also high. If possible please attach source code for RF_UI_START report. It is required more information to get answer on your question.

The error message is generic and is raised due to some technical error while uploading the data.You can try activating the planning area once. If you still face the error then you can raise an OSS mesage to look into the root cause.

But I want to Deploy It on QA and Prod Servers.

Hi Eitan,

 

 

I completely copied the first code example (both mail_1_prep_1 and mail_1_prep_2) and tried to execute it. The program works, but the message content still presented as attachments with the blank message body. I suppose, it's a matter of configuration of SAP/Exchange/Outlook and not the code-related issue. Can you recommend what and where should I check in order to achieve the desired result — the text of the message will be placed inside of the message body and not as an attachment with the empty message body.

Any ideas on portal email notification issue?

We have a production instance of PD 16.5 SP3 Portal running and we have had email notifications working fine for several months, but after the holiday period it seems to have broken :-(.

When ever from the "Repository Explorer" we select the "Subscriptions" tab the status icon moves into a "Disconnected state"- connect_disconnected.gif.

 

When looking at "Settings\Notification" that all looks good - and the "Test Mail Server" looks good. Additionally in "Settings\Server Status" the "Change Notification Information" is running.

 

We have bounced the portal, and looked at both the Server & Client log files (with debug logging on) - and see nothing that stands out. Additionally we have mail working on the same box using different applications (this helps show its not a network firewall/machine permissions), and on a different portal pointing to a different repository.

 

Has anyone seen anything like this, know the solution or a way to move diagnosis forward? Any ideas on what the Disconnected state means in this scenario?
